No, you shouldn't need a different belt if you bought one of the three pulley kits.

I've got Steeda underdrives and I had a problem with my belt being noisy, annoyed the hell out of me. I went to the parts store and picked up a belt that was about .8" shorter, solved the problem.

I am thinking of getting underdrive pulleys.
Have those of you who got them found a difference in performance to justify the install?

Thanks

You probably had a bad belt and the underdrives brought it out.
I would also say Steeda, and throw on a new belt since you've got to take the old one off.

Is there any reason to upgrade from the stock belt? I would say just leave it on until it's time to change it.

In your sig you ran a 13.1 but trapped only 103. What's up with that? On 250WHP too, pretty good if that 13.1 is correct. Mark
