you can make it "functional" but its not worth it imo

That hood scoop has 7 mounting pegs, which means yo uhave to DRILL 7 holes in your hood. The 35th Anniversary Edition has 4. that's what mine had. Just a thought !

Yeah i think I'll be ok with the one I have. I really don't feel comfortable drilling any holes in my hood. I already have a Cobra spoiler in which the last owner drilled like 15 holes into the fiberglass decklid. So I really don't need any more holes in my body!!!

I measured, then I measured, then I measured again and marked out the holes from the template. And yes you have the rip off(more like remove the hood liner) not that hard.

Oh yeah, then I measured, eyed it, taped it off, measured again, repositioned the tape, measured again, and I think I even went as far as

measuring it, lol. Believe me, I hated the idea of drilling the hood, but I was confident in my measurements. So I drilled the four holes, and then I had to take the scoop to get it painted, lol. Got it painted and hoped to hell it was right. Went to the paint shop, went outside and set it in the HOLES right out of the fresh paint booth, and BLAM, perfect fit. god was I thankful, lol.
