Default EMC flashing question

I was thinking of getting my EMC flashed(I hope I mentioned the right thing, im not exactly completely mechanical savvy). I own a 2001 Bullitt and am wondering is this mod is worth it, and what am I to expect if I was to get it done. Thanks!

it would be the pcm the main computer that you flash and its best to buy a handheld tunner such as diablosport or sct.... i have the diablo and happy with it so far but the one most liked on these forums is the sct so do some research on those and get the one that fits you

ah hey, thx for the correction. I have a friend willing to do it for me for 70 bucks. I think its a diablo tuner like you mentioned. Is there anything I am to expect if I do it? like, overheating or reduced gas mileage or the like?

LOL!!!! Thanks for the laugh. That was the funniest sh.t I've heard in a long time. Look your not bolting up a Supercharger here. Your not going to get 150hp out of a $350 handheld tuner. You will probably see around 5-10hp if that. Nothing even really noticable. The plus side with them is if you did have mods done, you can control your air/fuel ratio, timing adj., speedo correction for those low gears or tires, rev. limitor adj., top speed governor adj., auto tranny shift points. That's pretty much it! If you don't have any mods or have no clue what you are doing I wouldn't waste your money!
