Default So why in the hell....

does my clutch catch so god damn high? This thing catches up near my damn head. I just put in a steeda double hook and firewall adjuster but its still catchin high. Do I need something else here? Any info is helpful.

Do you have an aftermarket clutch? How many miles are on it?

A few more details might get you a more prompt answer.

If it grabs high it is probably because it is worn. Mine barely has any life left and theres only 1 inch of pedal distance that determines whether it's engaged or disengaged and that's the last inch before it completely release it. Getting a new clutch very soon.

Yep sounds like time for a new clutch. After riding mine for awhile after I bought it, she was near the top before she engaged and was starting to slip and burn when I'd get on it. Upgraded her to a new Spec Stage 2 clutch and she's nice and tight (she'll wear again I"m sure, lol)

Are you saying it engages/disengages right at the top of the clutch pedal movement?

Thats the part I liked best about both of the aftermarket clutchs I put in my car. I love how it does this right as you step down, gives you max time to not screw up on a shift.

if its a aftermarket clutch this is just a normal thing. If it is the stocker you may have a problem.
