i am more concerned with the base of the engine, for two hundred bucks i can get a clean 32v 4.6, just want to make sure besides the internals, they are basically the same thing, i am going to change internals anyways. And the head will be ported, and the intake will be replaced, i figure if i build it right , i am looking under 3k for about 400hp na

Honestly, the best answer is this... take yourself down to the Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealership, go to the service area.. and ask. lol. they can tell you everything.
