Okay... so last night took the g/f out... car drove fine, smoking more, but drove fine.

Today my dad and I go to go get some oil and stuff from the auto parts store, and I hear this hideous loud rattling coming from the back, like "clink clink clink' whenever I go over a bump. So, with rage, I say "fu** it I'll check it when we get there"

Turns out my rear sway bar broke! oh joy!

So my question is... does anyone know how difficult it is to change out the rear sway bar???


Second... my car is smoking all the time when it's hot now. However it only smokes on idle or after idling, driving I get nothing. GENTLE below 1500 rpm cruising I get some smoke the second I tap the gas. So I now KNOW my valve guide seals are SHOT. So I have 6 quarts of valvoline 10w40 and some max life treatment ready to go in.

but please lemme know about the rear sway bar... and of course it's a dealer only item, but that means I can probably get it CHEAP since I work there

i think its just 4 bolts....damn man you need to rub your car the right way maybee take her spend some alone time with here she seems to be mad at you did you cheat on her

I have not cheated on her. I plan to buy a beater car so I can love her some more. Hell 5 seconds before I found out the sway bar was broken I was showing my dad some print out details on the engine parts I wanna build for her

She's just being a bitch that's all

i think she is just ancsoius to get the new engine.... but the rear sway bar i think has four bolts 2 in each lower control arm

It is a easy install it is like 4 bolts get one side started then you have to push it together to get it past the other CA so what I am saying is it just pinches between the 2 lower CAs 10 15 min job tops

okay sweet. I should get it for 10% above cost at the dealer... so I'll buy or order it tomorrow.

maybe, but then again maybe the money I owe on the car to my parents and the money for the new one would just fall outta my a$$ somewhere. I don't think I could afford a newer one. I'm trying to buy a lil old honda now to drive around while I fix up my stang
