first of all would these VT ported heads fit my car? http://www.modulardepot.com/product_...e5cb4773f41173 my car is a 97 mustang gt


second, is would i have to get the headers that say fit 99-04 instead of 96-04 and these are the bbk longtubes. if these dont fit then how do i find headers that will fit these heads?

at the bottom of that page it says you can choose between romeo or windsor. I'm not sure what you have. I wanna say romeo but I could be wrong. 99-01 had windsor and 01.5+ have romeo. Again, I'm not sure what you have. Wait for someone else to chime in before you make your decision.

You can put the VT heads on your car but you will need to buy an intake for 99-04 2V's. Get the Romeo so you can re-use your valve covers.

yeah your right, you do have to buy an intake for a 99 and up stang, but arent the blocks different between the romeo and windsor?

if you're going to spend that much money on heads get the SVO/FRPP 2v heads, they are alot better and from what droptoppony has said before i believe you can have them ported to 280 cfm, alot more than those VT heads. and you wont have to get new intake manifold but im sure that is highly recommended to get best perf. from heads anyway.

headers are interchangable between all 2V heads...might not fit different cars but will bolt up to all 2V heads....
