Thanks guys,

So let me summarize to make sure I've got it

If I just put PI cams and manifold on 98 npi heads = approx 30 rwhp
If I P&P the NPI heads = 20 more rwhp possibly

I think long term I am looking at an S/C system, so in my opinion the $1000 - $1200 it will cost for P&P and reinstall is not worth the 20 extra.

I would rather use that money for exhaust. Do you more experianced members agree or disagree ? I really welcome all input. There is too much money at stake to make rash or unadvised decisions

Also I am figuring around 30 hp after all bolt ons and a tune. Is that wishful thinking, or about right.

So far my wish list/mods list looks like this

Pi cam and manifold swap
Ford racing shorty headers
catted x pipe
Ford racing cat back
Accufab TB/Plenum
CAI
Tune
UDP (Steeda)
4.10 gears

That should get it moving better, then next year an S/C system, nothing crazy as I don't want to fiddle with bottom end.

You're going to need an adapter kit if you're planning on putting a PI intake manifold on non PI heads...i believe Livernois sells one...

i say if you dont go to the pi heads, screw the cams, get some LT headers with an x-pipe and cat backs and then throw on the blower..

see thing is with p & p'd heads that supercharger will flow just so much better, then you'll have a real beast on ure hands.

Wow great responses, thanks,

I already have the cams, and as someone stated earlier I will be getting the livernois manifold kit ( I don't trust the rtving). I have been fiding some good deals on exhaust etc, so some cash may be freed up. It sounds as if you guys would do the p&P, and truthfully I am starting to lean that way as well. If I don't get a s/c next year at least I'll be squeezing as much as I can out of the motor, no regrets ,ya know.
