Default UDP's...

I was just wanting to know which underdrive pulley brands were not piggybacks? I know steeda's arent. What about MAC? Do piggyback's do anything for you? I was wondering because I wanted to know if there were cheaper sets than the steeda's. I plan on supercharging eventually , and unless i can get a udp set at a good price, im not going to waste my money.

And I know most of you have read unending threads on piggyback's and can say a lot, but has anyone had first hand experience with them?

Here is the deal. I advise that if you plan on going the S/C route, don't get them. I have them but I am planning on staying NA. Just my .02 as well. Steeda is not piggyback, Saleen is not piggyback, MAC may have both so I don't know.

march is non piggy back too.

i don't know about 5.0's and the older motors, but the 4.6's come with oversized accessories. buy them if you have a 4.6

Actually, March has both. Buy the set with the SFI dampener if you go with March. Steedas are easy to install and work very well. Top notch quality. I have them and the timing adjuster and I went from 17.5 to 20.5 mpg driving sanely.

Yes, and it was a bad experience. I had MAC UDPs for three months and replaced them with Steeda.

Randy,

What charging/heating issues? I've ran mine in 100+ temps and 100% humidity and the needles didn't move one iota. I can't speak for everyone, but I've never heard of these issues with UDPs. However, if you are running a serious sound set up, you may want to omit the alt pulley or buy a better alternator.
