walbro is like kirban, and the people wo make timing chains..they are big suppliers

now the svt focus pump might be a requested revamped design from ford...as well as you should know customer changes can/do happen between product runs...being a prior diecaster i know this.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with walbro bet ya money walbro makes the svt focus pump
I have just talked to like 3 or 4 people that have had the walbro give out on them, and never heard of anyone talking bad about the SVT pump.

It might be all BS, I dunno.

****ING THANK YOU!!! That's what I've been telling him for the past ****ing 2 hours!!!

Magazing reading posters!!! You don't need 42# injectors to run @ 350. I understand the benefits of tim's charger...I just chose another route after some investigating.

This site sucks for information, but is good for entertainment.
Ummm...I think he was talking to you buddy [8D]

Is there no one on this site that can agree w/ me that the stock maf will be calibrated fine w/ the injectors for my application.

Can anybody attest that 42# is high for my application?

Nobody is saying you cannot use 38 pound injectors.

But you honestly want to pay for 38s with the higher cycle time when you can get 42s for the same price?

And this is far from the only thing that is a disadvantage to the SCO kit.

And once again, why shoot for only 350 WHP?

Just come out and say it. You honestly think that saving maybe 200 bucks was a heck of a deal with all of the stuff mentioned in the first post???

that depends on boost pressure fuel psi demand plus pulse witdth including if your fuel pump can supply it...that's why some people can get away with running 30's on 10 psi motor...255plh intake/276plh boosta pump at 40 psi can hold 500hp...<numbers not exact, but you get the idea..

38s are fine for a low boost stock shortblock application on a 2v 4.6L.

But, why pay for 38s when 42s are basically the same price?

Like I said, the "cheap" kits are no deal when you get all said and done. Save a grand total of about 200 bucks (or less) and get a kit with far less potential (not just due to the injectors).

200 bucks. Seriously. You just spent close to 4 grand and you are skimping on options to save 200 bucks.

Thats like buying a 100,000 dollar mercedes and not getting the optional air conditoining installed

You can run 30# injectors in my aplication.

& I'm shooting to not go too high because I don't feel like buyina new tranny.

God...it's like talking to a brick wall. Just there's 30 rooks in the way with their heads up their asses being sold on what is being marketed to them.

This is ****ing stupid. This is like a "MPH or bust" convo. & it all started because someone (2000GT4.6) who I have NEVER even met before seems to have an overwhelming interest in my purchases.

this is my point...you run 38's at say 12 psi....6mo's later<a week for me ...you want say 17 psi...now you'd want 42's or melt motor if tune can't reach desired a/f
