Get a can of PB penetrating spray. Works 10x better than wd-40

You trying to get them off at the heads, or where they connect to the mid pipe?

i am puting on a h-pipe. bolts are near the starter on passenger side. i don't want to break the bolts off, looks like it would be a BIG job to replace the bolts. thanks.

Those are tough, took me a while to rig up enough extensions and swivels to get on them. Mine came off fairly easy, i took the PB and sprayed it on about 4 times in an hour while i was waiting for it to cool.

use the extension, and use your foot on the wrench - plant urself under ur car, hold on for life and push as hard as u bloody well can.. thats how i got my driveshaft and exhaust bolts off... ur legs have like 5-8x as much power as ur arm every will :P.. do it in jerking motions - you might get lucky and break it loose without twisting the whole bolt / snapping it

if the bolts break off - you wouldnt have gotten them off to begin with - cus they'd be perma rusted together, and no penetrating spray is getting thru half an inch of rust fused metal !

Spray them, spray them, spray them or bring the job to a muffler shop. They charged me $75.00 to intall my off road H pipe.
It would be on their shoulders if they had busted the bolts so it was a good investment.

leverage man, thats all i can say is leverage. The longer extentions you have the easier it will be. Also i'd recomment using a breaker bar since they're about 6-8 inches longer than your average 1/2 ratchet drive. lots of penetrating oil+lots of leverage=gettin them biotches off
