i've got o/r h pipe, pullies, diablo tuner, 4:10's, c&L air intake, bullitt aluminum intake manifold, and the bullitt twin 57mm throttle body.

I have 450hp with 3.73s and basic bolt on SS cars still are a somewhat competitive race for me. Granted they aren't as fast but if I miss a shift, or get a bad launch there can be some close runs. Im def not calling it impossible- but those 2000+ SSs and WS 6s are very respectable.

Looked like an LS1 z28, if it was stock and an automatic you should be able to take him with your mods. Gearing in an Auto LS1=horrible. 6sp is a whole different story though.

how much hp does an LS1 have?
yea a C3 with 190 HP, maybe even a C4, you aint touchin no C5 or c6
