Default Tired of Losing

Okay so I know it's stupid to race on the streets but it happens. I was so sicken tired of getting killed in my '96 V6 Mustang by my cousins 240sx and EVO. So I recently purchased a 99 Mustang GT. Nothing too spectacular. Dual exhuasts and K&N intake. I still got killed!!! What's the deal?!!!!![:@]

The 4.6 2 valve happened. Supercharge that thing. Or get on the juice. You'll probly get better results

Umm an EVO will blow the doors off of a stock new edge GT.

What I want to know is what's done to the 240sx b/c those are slow as turds stock.

Well the EVO's pretty much stock too. except for intake and exhaust. The 240 has a SR20, boosting 10 psi, intercooler, intake and exhaust.

I'm too broke right now to get anything. But I'll be back!!!!

Oh yeah it's a stick. It's not like I can't drive a stick. I've been driving one for about 8 years. Ofcourse, I've never timed myself.

Hmm no wonder lol. Don't worry about it too much, those cars are worthy of losing to if your car is basically stock. Get some gears and a handheld tuner and you will probably get even. Mustangtuning.com has a kit that comes with gears, tuner, and some royal purple tranny fluid for around $560. It's a good value for what you get.

Edit: DO NOT get 3.73's. Go with the 4.10's or you will regret it.

No kidding here. 2v heads don't flow... best way to defeat that problem is to supercharge it... or just get some nitrous to get the power on the cheap.
