Default 96-98 vs 99+

ok, so from what i understand the 96+ GTs have 2v heads, but from 99+ it came with the PI H/C/I. Now working off of this same logic, do the 4v 99+ cobras have more power than the 96-98 4v cobras (with the exception of the terminators, of course)? If so, why? sorry im new to all the 4.6 stuff and just trying to get a knowledge, because i may look for a 96-98 cobra, but not if theyre too much inferior to newer models.

The 99 cobras were rated at about 20hp more than the sn95 cobras, they had a different intake manifold and some other minor things. A sn95 cobra and a 99-01 cobra arent as drastic in HP than a sn95 gt to a 99+

its 305 for 96-98s, 99s were 320 but overrated and even the PI heads still suck

from what they are saying 96-98 cobras are the same to the 99+ cobras all except the 99+ intake manifold, so bascially yah its all the same

96-98 Cobra intake and heads are different then the 99/01 Cobra...B heads in the 96-98 and C heads with a much better intake in the 99/01 Cobra..

So they dont make better flowing intake manifolds for the 4.6 cobras that you can just bolt on like the 5.0s?

Correct me if im wrong but the sn-95 cobras come stock with 8.8 rearends right? If thats the case, than the rearend can withstand a little bit of abuse, right?
