Is getting an aftermarket H-pipe really worth it on a basically stock motor? I'm sure it would sound a bit better, but how much HP would it really free up, 5-10 max?

My .O2 on cats, minimal HP loss for a hi-flow like MRT or SLP, emissions inspections are not going away. I don't have inspections but I know one day they'll get to me. If you sell the car they have to be on there, the new owner can turn you in and you will be fined. I try not to do anything to my cars that won't make them a pain in the *** to get back in compliance, this is 2006 not 1964. I grew up with no emissions, but like everything in life, the rules change, adaptation is the key!

dude look at the O/R prochamber. Probally one of the best midpipes out there, they are kinda a bitch cuz of the 3 pipes but its worth it.

And if u are looking at getting a catted midpipe just plan on adding about 200 bucks to the price of an O/R pipe.

Theres no fine in Indiana for selling a car with no cats, and we arnt really any where close to having emision laws, theres not really ne need for it, we have one big city, a few smaller ones and the rest of the state is corn fields

we have one big city
2 big cities..

fort wayne is HUGE man.. lol..no indy, but still giant..

but other than that, the rest was right, corn, corn, corn, soy beans, corn, some cows, corn, corn, and some more soy beans, oh, and some more corn

If i were you, i'd just go with the o/r H, if you dotn like the sound, sell it (lots of people looking for an o/r H) and then buy a aftermarket catted pipe

You're at Purdue huh? I was at DePauw last year, you ever heard of it? Its like 45 minutes away. I stopped by Purdue a couple weekends last winter. Its pretty crazy up there.

72 Mach, you're from Indy? I'm in Fishers pretty often visiting friends and family. Lots of corn, but Indiana's an awesome state:-)
