when reverse is a bitch.. i shift into first than back to reverse and it clears it up.. weird tranny..
anyhow does anyone know if u do like slightly let the clutch off to easy and hit the tranny gate getting a little scratch.. is it really bad, or should things be ok?

I drive both cars '01 Bullitt, stock shifter, '04 GT, TRI-AX. I absolutely DESPISE that sloppy *** shifter in the Bullitt. It takes a very deliberate effort to find third, whereby the tri-axe is a complete no-brainer. You would have to try to miss a shift. Interesting about folks talking about finding reverse. Both our 3650's find reverse perfectly. Last vehicle I had that trouble was with an '87 Turbo coupe with the T-5, that vehicle had a dragging clutch which made it difficult to shift into reverse. replace my clutch, no problemo!

They dont seem that great originally, but go back to a stock shifter... holy **** I could never.
