I've talked with the guy before. He's a pretty cool guy. I met him from carcrazycentral.com

His name is Bill Bowin from Maryland. The car of course is a 1970 Pontiac GTO, it surges from 500 rpms to 2500 rpms.

You might be able to check out the video here.

Holy crap. On the one hand, the idea that he made that work is awesome, on the other hand, that is an eyesore.

its a gimmick. There isn't a single street application out there that makes more horsepower than a single blower can provide.

im sure that thing is fast but it looks horrible
I bet it's nowhere near as fast as you might think. It's just a gimmic and nothing more.

He has it at 700hp now according to his cardomain but says it can go up to 1300hp. I think it said 57" from the bottom of the oil pan to the top of the scoop.

Engine weighs 1000lbs.
And that could be done easy with one blower and a big block. He has twice the heat now, and after the air goes threw the second blower, my guess is the aftercooler cannot keep up with the heat that generated.

I've never heard of twin superchargers on a 4.6, but I've seen some marine racing engines that come with twin superchargers. Course that is a completely different world than a 4.6 modular. "Twin Superchargers" does sound cool though.

it has been been done successfully, here is an engine shot from a 1932 Alfa Romero P3...it had a straight 8 with twin superchargers. Each huffer handled 4 cylinders. While it looks like a turbo set-up, it isn't.
