Well I'll have my car paid off in like 1.5 years, and I've been already prepping for the 03-04 SVT purchase. I have the prelim go ahead! I mean I just bought her a car that was 18000, so I think I can get something of similiar price.

I know I wouldn't regret it; it's time to learn another car.

03-04 Terminators are going for the mid 20's now, of course if you wait a year and a half you could probably find them for under $20K.

Just out of curiosity, what would your car run if it was stock?

I never ran it when it was completely stock, but from what I've heard it's high 14's to low 15's.

Why do you ask?

Man, i tell you what.... I love working on these cars. They're soo simple yet fun. I will admit, i do have a lot of respect for some imports though. i have a few buddies who have 300ZX's, some are N/A and a couple are twin turbo, i help them work on em' all the time and i really enjoy it. A little more complicated then a stang', but i'd prefer my beefy V-8 to their 6 cylinders any day of the week

I was anti-stang for a long time, but that was because my dad told me they sucked and were over rated. When he told me he had the same engine as a cobra in his Mark VIII I couldn't believe it.

Anyways, after working on my grand prix for a while, I most definitely respect the V8 due to it's tone, power, and rear wheel drive. Plus I can get an 04 cobra that comes with a supercharger! Are you joking. I was looking around and found times of 12.9; I'll need to learn to drive stick though. [sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif]

yea, a lot of people are "anti-stang". at least a lot of people i know are, but i think they're just jealous that my car is nicer and faster than their rice-burning honda's. I do get a lot of boo's when i go to car shows, but those are the people who drive bondo covered pieces of ricer crap. I do however, get way more props and stares than anything, and i just got a GT. Just imagine the attention you'll get when you roll up in a terminator.

I do think it's just jealousy. Yeah, I could beat most GT stangs that aren't modded, but if you guys just put a little cash for some headers-exhaust-intake-etc, I'm smoked.

I will miss my Heads Up Display and all the room in the back, but like gidyup said, "I won't regret it."

man it makes me sick seeing GT's that are just beat to crap. Either that or seeing ones that are completely stock. It's not like mods for these cars are expensive, not compared to most cars. I mean i dont have a TON done to mine, but it looks goooooooooood...

I'm just a little afraid when I do purchase one that the guy before me drove it like I'll drive it.[:@]
