a rather noob question...but... i was curious as to how wide of a tire can fit on stock bullit wheels. is there a difference on how wide you can go with street radials and drag radials(meaning is it ok for d/r's to bulge?) any recommendations as to rear tire dimensions? ive got plain jane 245/45's on right now, and id like to go wider without having to purchase new wheels. but at the same time i dont want a tire hanging 2 inches off the wheel getting ready to lose its bead lock...lol... any help is awesome guys. thanks...

275s will fit... pushing it though... I actually had 285/40s on an 8 inch wide wheel... this was only because I had some 10.5s coming though and didnt have any other tires... But it can be done ... was a bitch for the guys at the tire shop but 285s Will fit an 8 inch wheel. I wouldnt recommend anything more than 275s though

 

get 275s i work at discount tire and it was hard enough to get some of those on this guys bullits last week...one of the full timers said he had 285s or 295s on his b4 and they worked just fine...you can go reall really wide and not worry about it rubbing the inside of your feder well but youll have to get spacers which if you get those you can get your car wored on at discount tire unless you know someone that works there
