Not sure, and i didnt even know it was illegal in california.. i didnt buy it to stay legal, but i was kinda shying away from O/R H, which i may be switching to soon. I found out my cats are approved for all states except the great one i live in... i guess they're just not restrictive enough lol.

Mufflers dont make a car emissions illegal, but they can violate local/state noise regulations. I know for a fact that almost any aftermarket midpipe with LM1's is illegal in alot of places, LM2's arent far off, and im sure there are plenty of Stingers that are to loud.. i might be to loud myself.
And Sinister, im almost 100% sure that theres nothing like that.. only gaskets ive heard about are midpipe to header on passengar side, since the drivers side connect the same way that the midpipe does to the catback. The pass. midpipe to header is the only connection that requies a gasket to seal- But thanks for a response/suggestion.
