Default Superchips Programmer??

Has anyone here had any experience with these. A friend of mine got one out a repo car and he has no use for it. SO he's giving it to me but i don't want to use it before i learn a little about it. So any positive or negative comments on this part would be greatly appreciated.

In order for you to be able to program your vechile with it it needs to be returned to it's stock settings. In other words the car it was used on has to have all its settings returned to stock before anyone else can use it.

the programmer will let you know if its vin locked once your hook it up. i have one for my car, with the 93octane tune you can notice a difference. give it a shot and see, basically the tune is already set up it just downloads into your pcm. i think it only asks you if you have stock gears , if you want to turn the fan on at a lower temperature and the rest it does for you.

The only things you can adjust is shift pressure, shift points, fan activation temp, gears, and raise the rev limiter.
