Default Clutch Advice

ok guys...so i was going to get a SPEC Stage II Clutch cuz i need a stronger clutch to go with my Vortech. I had heard some bad things about Centerforce...i forget what honestly...but i had just heard to stay away from em. Well i called a shop and they recommended Centerforce over SPEC to me. He said that with SPEC clutches i will be eating through clutch cables...or something like that. i forget exactly what he said. So i come to you...those who have experience with SPEC and ESPECIALLY those who have experience with Centerforce...are you happy with your clutch? have you had any problems? please give some input as I would like to get this done in the next few weeks if possible. as always, thank you and i appareciate your time.

I have some aftermarket clutch that came with my car, I think its a stage 2. I didnt like it at first I thought it was too stiff. I gotten use to so its not that bad anymore. I drive my neighbors 04 cobra off and on and my clutch is even more heavier than his. For a daily driver, its totally your decision but im warning you that it SUX in bumper to bumper

To the best of my knowledge, the chattering when new clutches are installed and breaking in are caused by improper resurfacing of the flywheel. I don't think it's that big of a deal however since it will adjust itself once it breaks in.

Anyways, depending on how much boost you're running, I would recommend the king cobra. It's been good to me since I got the car, and now that I'm replacing the clutch I'm getting another king cobra.
