I just got off the phone with a mustang shop and they said $500 for a custom tune, no matter how many dyno pulls it takes.
(using snyper tuning solfware)

Is this a good price???

Amazon Tuning Solutions.... Call rick and he will tell you the best route. I got my car dyno tuned there with the Diablosport Predator for $375.00 It took about 3 pulls to get the a/f and timing adjusted to perfection. Rick has been doing mustangs for years and is one of the best! You cannot go wrong with amazon.

back to the topic....that price seems right....place around here...mustang magic charges $600 using the same software. Some places do charge per pull though.

to add to that....I would be more worried about how reputable the tuner is than the price...ask around...try to find the best tuner in your area. Might even be worth a drive to get it done right.

That doesnt sound too bad but I got my car tuned for $100/hr. So depending on what is being done, it is about right.

Sounds good to me. I got my car tuned for $500. Same deal as you, flat rate cost (using diablo software though)

if it includes the software it is a good deal. for me its 380 for software (hand-held tuner) and 150 for the dyno tune.
