Default exhaust

Well I've had my gt for about 2 months now and the previous owner had flows installed.. the drone is driving me nuts, wondering what it'd take to make the cabin more quiet would installing more sound deadening mats in the trunk help? i wanna hear it with the windows down but when its up i want it to be quiet as a luxury car

I wouldn't think putting it in the trunk would help maybe in the floorboards in the "cockpit" and under seats would help but it isnt really worth taking out all the interior. To my understanding the drone is caused by the vibration in the midpipe not the sound out of the tips but I could be wrong.
