Default 5W-20??

My manual says 5W20 oil, what weight are all you guys running? Are you running syn or conventional??

I was happy with 5-20 Red Line synthetic in my old Mustang. I'll most likely use it again on the new one.

You can safely step up to a 10-30 or 10-40, but the recommended weight from Ford is the 5-20, so that is probably what you should stick with. Either the Motorcraft or the WIX filters are recommended, unless you spend the extra bux for the Redline, Amsoil or K&N.
