The manual calls for 5 quarts of oil, but after I have fully drained all my oil and added 5 quarts back, the oil line is always about .5cm to.8cm over the full line on my dipstick. Is this normal? Should I be worried at all about overfill?
4.6L = 6 qt.'s , or so the manual say's . I buy 6 qt's and use 1/2 qt to flush out alittle more dirty oil , then add the rest & it's about 1/2 way between min/max line's .
Do 04's have bigger pans? My manual says 5 quarts. But I still am wondering if I am hurting anything by having it like this. When I first bought the car, the oil was at the full line and I only drained 4 quarts out. Idk what the deal is.
