Default Cams?

I just bought these cams for my car.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...B:EOIBSA:MT:11
I am doing a PI swap and didn't want PTV issues. Does anyone think I made a good choice? Comp told me this is the cam for my setup. I have PI cams and was told I would see another 10-15 RWHP from these over the PI cams. I called VT engines , houston Performance, and Crane and for another $325 to buy there cams I might have seen an additional 10RWHP. Does this sound right? Thanks

See back in the good ol days way before they had OHC and EFI and all that good stuff a good custom cam could get you 50 or more hp. Now a days things are different. they say you get a solid 25 to 35 hp from a set of preground cams but custom cams is the only way to go IMO. Thats where you get all the power from. Otherwise its like loading the "tune in a can" performance tune that came with you diablo tuner. Its a general thing and they have to take into consideration that you may be stock or you may have bolt ons so its not as much power as a custom cam but its good if you have more mods on the horizon and it gives you a little more power up top.
