red and green are great contrasting colors, so I'd leave them untinted, but for shades 'o' gray cars (i.e. silver, gray, black, white) tinting the tail light covers adds a nice touch... other colors too, but on green, or even blue I'd leave them un-tinted. but that's just me, and different strokes for different folks!

just get black housing/clear corner headlights...they will look really good with your white car...and then 50% tint the tails/3rd brakelight/sidemarkers....not too dark...you can still see the red and at night you can't tell AT ALL
