Way too high. I got my 96GT 2 1/2 years ago for 6200 dollars. Now, I wouldnt pay more than about 5000 for that car w/ that many miles on it. Offer him that and if he refuses, walk.

You got a nice car stangchick.... but I'm lookin for a coupe and not a vert. Sorry[8D]. But I may just offer the guy something like $4,500 and just watch his reaction to that. I doubt he'll go for that but I'm in no rush so I can wait for a good deal to come along.

i picked up my 96 gt bone stock with about 89k on it for 4500. It has the mach 460 and ful leather interior w/ power drivers seat and lumbar. So i would try and get him down. that sounds a little high

Sounds like you found a pretty good deal. I myself prefer the 94,95 taillights better than I do the 96-98's. But I'm just gonna keep searchin around cuz I'm in no hurry. I've been finding alot of autos tho lately[:@]... I was bored with my 04 auto GT so deffinetly getting a manual.

Well, is the paint a MACO job?

I would pass on this. In my opinion, I would look for a 94-95 gt with about the same mileage. I'm sure you could get that for around 5k and it would probaly be more reliable.

Yea... I checked that out last night. Depending on its condition and stuff, it looks to be worth right around the $4,800-$5,500. Maybe thats why the car has been there for a few months, it should deffinetly be cheaper than that. I may just go ahead and post the link to it so everyone can check it out. 1996 Mustang GT
