I know you should run 12's easily, maybe u can hit a 12.7, granted that you are a really good drivier.

I'm hoping for 12.5's myself. I have full bolt-ons minus headers, a nx 100 shot, 4:10's and bfg drag radials. I think low 12's would only be possible on slicks. I'll let you know after Saturday!!!

I just wanted to know why most of the guys here run a DOT drag radial? Just run the stock 245 and facory wheels around the street. And pick up a different set of wheels and Slicks for the strip.

+1 Thats what i say. Im looking for a set of 18" saleen rims for the street with some good g forces for handling and then a nice set of 16's with full out slicks for track use.

Well i a guy down the block from me ran a 12.8 at 105.6 with full boltons, stage 1 cams, full exhaust, and 373 gears with slicks and NO n2o.

Whats the point of running the drag radial. You can run them all the time and they suck just as bad in the rain, so might as well go all out and go with slicks for the track and drive the stockers for the street.

If you get slicks make sure u get radial slicks, otherewise ur car is gonna be dancin on you! Radial tires on the front and non radial tires on the back=BAD!! or u can get skinnies and meats and solve that problem!

He said no nitrous. And also I dont think running slicks with the GT's stock rear axle would be to good of an idea. Down the line I want moser 32 spline axle and full out slicks. I think slicks on a stock axle will just snap it
