When I Floor My Mustang The engine putters and still goes just not cleanly. Could this be Spark Plugs, Or Something else in the ignition. Im pretty sure its the ignition. The 2003 mustang mach 1 has nearly 40,000 Miles on it, Ive owned it since 30,000 and have not changed the spark plugs. Before I owned it Im not sure if they changed them or not. any ideas would help. I just got it back from ford from getting a new transmission and it did it a little before but now bad.

check the MAF, IAC and Spark Plugs. Clean as needed. I'd change plugs just for sh*ts and giggles. Never hurts, but it's your car.

Change the plugs first, if that doesn't help, go from there.

i had the same problem, its your injecters, get some BG44k fuel system cleaner and you will be set

change plugs and wires. Do all the simple stuff first, if its still not fixed then go to injectors and get them cleaned out. When I mean simple stuff- plugs,wires,fuel filter,air filter, clean mas.

I would go with items like MAF, ATS ,TPS and fuel filter and by plugs

Plugs will give you sputter under load as will a dirty fuelf filter.

How is your gas ? Could you have water in it ?

I gotten great results from NGK platinums. What tranny work did Ford do for you? The OD's in those trannies are known to shudder when in OD and locking up. Do a google search about it and be sure they used the correct fluid. Mark
