Default HEADLIGHTS

my headlights are coming in on wednesday, but i dont know how to put em in, ive looked online for ever and under my hood and still dont know how to do it. help!!!

on my 03 you open the hood and pull out 2 pins in the back of the headlight and they just pop out

Unfortunately I cannot find a diagram I mentioned in the other thread to illustrate removal and install other than just a wiring diagram. It shouldn't be too hard with some help from these guys though.

wohoo, AJ97GT another completely stocker w/ same gen. car as me, nice to know theres others out there!!! thanks for the help, greatly appreciated, im pretty much a noob to all this, but i know more than the average person.

On my 01 GT, you just pull up to slide the 2 pins out of the head light unit and they pull right out, then you twist the retaining piece and they come right out then you unclip it and replace. Its a piece of cake. it may be the same for a 98. Hope that helps.

+1 it was really easy for me, i think there were some pins that i pulled out...kinda like bracket shaped things but now im just confusing you...when i go back ou tto the garage ill check
