Default mach system question

I have the Mach 460 and I know thats a slightly upgraded factory option, and I know there is a Mach 1000. That is an even more upgraded system from the factory correct? I was wondering what years/models you could have the mach 1000??

i heard stock on cobras and saleens......anyone know FOR SURE though? And any information on the size of the subs and how many subs? I saw a picture of someones on here and it looks sweet for stock. 4 amps in the trunk with 2 subs it looked like..

I know this is the wrong forum and all, sorry. I just like the wisdom of the 4.6 section better. The sound section is way too technical it seems like to me.

Don't know about Cobras or Saleens but I do know that it was 2 subs/4 amps as you stated.

im not sure on the years.. but a guy with a black 01 GT near me has the mach1000. im not sure if it came with his car or if he put it in. im planning on adding a subwoofer/amp i have left over from my last car onto the factory system. the 460 has good mid/highs but bass is lacking.

Here's another question. Is it easy to upgread a 460 to a 1000? If anyone knows...or I can post in the sound section.

well im guessing it wouldnt be that hard... saying that it would make more sense just get a aftermarket system with a custom box. most likely would sound better than the mach1000 subs.

+1, might as well get a custom job with a nicer sounding sub(s) and amps, I'm sure they'd sound better than a factory system.
