Default Best $300 Investment

I just got a $300 bonus and i'm trying to determine the best way to spend it on my 98 GT. Everything runs great right now. I had a new clutch kit put in last month, and i'm just over 73,000 miles. I want to bulletproof my engine as much as that's possible. Everything is stock right now, and I was thinking of getting a better intake manifold w/ the aluminum coolant crossover, or performance plugs & wires. Is there anything better that I can and should do for $300?

if i were you i would buy a cat back or do something to the exhaust. you could do gears and throw in a few bucks and get a handheld tuner at the same time. you could do a shortshifter or do lowering springs and window tint. lots of options for 300bucks on a stock car.

I'd buy a short throw shifter and get some tint maybe.

Gears would probably be the best although the tint idea is nice. Doesn't add much horsepower but it does look good[8D]

I want do my engine some justice. I am thinking more about durability rather than performance. I just updated my sig- I have dual cat back flowmasters, so I won't be modding the exhaust.

Found the answer: 2L73= 2.73's

So none of you think getting the better intake manifold is a good idea for now?

The other option I was thinking about was to get a better radiator and tranny cooler.

You could get a PI intake manifold, and then get the PI cams and PI heads. Are you looking for more power, or are you just trying to give the car a tune-up?
