Default question about supercharger

i have a 2000 gt (all stock) and i am going to put on a stock supercharger off an 03 cobra. i was wondering if i would need to change anything like fuel pump, fuel injectors anything like that so that it would work without me blowing up my engine

To be honest, the M112 Eaton that is on the 03 Cobras is designed for a 4valve engine. You CAN do it but it is a PITA. You would be MUCH better off getting a kit from a company for your car than Frankensteining one from a Terminator.

As far as blowers are concerned, you will need bigger injectors, fuel mods, and a tune at least. In addition, you may want some goodies such as boost gauge, meth injection, and suspension mods. These will help you get the most out of the blower then. Good luck; if you do some research, you will find a good amount of supercharger kits that will work fine w/ your car.

BTW, the Eaton off of the 03/04 Cobras isnt very efficient anyways. You are better off w/ a aftermarket one anyways.

A procharger or Vortech are good SC's to start looking at cause they are fairly efficient and don't cost as much as some others. But Kenne Bell has SC's for the 2V as well so really its a matter of personal preference. I prefer KB's cuz of its style and instant boost. The Eaton off the Cobra is designed for the 4V so like he said, I wouldn't do that. Good luck in your search.

By the time you change everyting else you will have spent just a much money as buying one made for your car. Get a kenne Bell or another brand made specifically for your car.

yeah, but that is like saying, the water to fill the pool is only $20, while the pool is going to cost you $10,000. You are going to have some coin in it trying to get it to work and it isnt going to be the best for the money. People with more experience are trying to steer you away from it for a reason. There is alot of good info in the stickys and past posts, read up.

You'll need to make yourself an intake manifold, but that's all. Otherwise everything else will be simple by comparison. Like others are saying pass on the hair dryer and go with another company.

wow some friend...they are selling for like 250-300 on ebay because they are almost useless except for current 03/04 owners looking for one to get ported.
