Default DD for winter, what do you guys got

Well... I have began searching for a winter car. I need something relatively cheap around 1500, but the cheaper the better,
I was just wondering what you guys all got for the winter

My winter beater is a two door 96 Ford Escort......I picked it up last winter and it has served as my parts getter, commuter, and at times my mud bogger.....I still can't believe what a beating i've dished out on this car and no issues what so ever. Damn good bang for the buck!

the mustang lucaly my parents have a beater subaru that i can drive whenever i want. i plan on getting winter tires and only driving it when its not slushy/snowy out unless i HAVE TOO. its not in my budget right now to get a beater car... maybe next winter.

for beater cars tho you should look for hondas, they are very reliable.

I have a 98 two door Mirage. 1.5 liters of pure fun[8D]. Does get 30+mpg and at 157k miles it still running pretty strong.

Left foot and right foot. I'm away at school (no need for a car) and my baby hibernates!
