Pypes Exhaust??? on a 4valve?
I currently have magnaflows on my 96' cobra. I was told not to get flowmaster's because they restrict a 4V motor greatly. So I was thinking on getting the Pypes Violators??? Does anyone run these or know anything about them. I want a louder & deeper sound without it being raspy, but at the same time flow good. ADVICE PLEASE!

should have a sound clip in there similar to what you want.

pypes is a pretty cheap brand. IF flowmasters "restrict" your flow, pypes wouldn't do any better. if you want a muffler that doesn't restrict, get a straight thu type such as stingers or loudmouths. now these won't be quite as deep, but they are louder and won't restrict. i have LMI's and i'm extreamly satisfied with them.

Nothing sounds good on a 4v.

I'm beginning to think you need to keep your anti-4v bullcrap to yourself and stick to giving advice rather than your unfounded opinions.

Depends on the type of muffler from pypes. The VIOLATOR mufflers are straight thru and are reversible for either more sound less flow or more flow less sound. If you don't want the same sound as everyone else, go with the violator system.

The Violator will flow comparable to both the Stinger and Loudmouth. The sound should be more like a chambered muffler because of the fullsize muffler case and no packing.
