Do u ever lie about the year of your ride??
I DONT, if anyone remembers my other post about calling your car something its "not" i just thought i would stir up some more emotions.... but i will admit i see people that have 99 cars call them 2000 all the time... and i have seen alot of people lie +1 or 2 years, i kinda understand, but maybe someone can tell me why people do it, and if you ever caught anyone doing it. But its funny, we have a 1999 terry trailer and my wife knows it and still tells everyone its a 2000... the human mind is strange....

^^^ haha yea. I dont lie about my car, cause my car is the same year the Terminators were produced and since my original car I wanted was a 03 Cobra but my parents wouldnt co-sign the loan for me, Im in love with the 2003 model year [8D]

i dont know why anyone would ever lie about the year of a mustang...its a mustang right???...there is no shame in that!!! now if its a sturn or something else...then i could see why someone might lie about the year. lol

I would never lie about it. No reason to imo. Of course once I get my 04 Cobra, you couldn't really fudge the years much anyways... not that I plan on telling anyone its an 03 or anything [8D]

one time this guy with a stock GT vert tried to tell me it was an 03 even though it had the 99-01 styled wing, hood and headlights. when i told him that's BS he was like "you don't know **** about mustangs!" not knowing that i'm a stang owner myself. when i pulled mine from around the corner he suddenly starts to adjust his wipers and acts like he didn't see me

Why would someone do that? I guess it's like people who lie about their mods - despite how obvious something is people feel better by trying to rationalize their fantasies I guess.

why exactly would you lie about it.... i mean what satisfaction would it give you to say yeah its a 2001 not a 2000..... i mean i dont have a ride right now but ill call mine a 2000 something cuz im gonna get somethin that is atleast 2000 or newer lol.... ill post pics of what is left of my truck after a stang met me head on lol gotta figure out how though..
