Default Fog Light wiring problems

I have a Mach with a 01 Cobra front bumper... I bought it this way. I think the wiring wasn't done correctly. The thing is, the foglights will only come on with my parking lights. If my headlights are on (high or low) the fogs will not turn on. When I have the parking lights on, the fog light switch is still funtional (I can turn them on or off), but the fogs only get power when the car has the parking lights on. Any ideas? I really like the look of the head lights and fogs on at the same time, but it wont let me! Idealy, I would like to have the parking lights on any time the car is in 'run.' I did search on this, but with the mis wiring of the fog lights in the first place, nothing helped. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Sgt. F

I will take a better look at it tomarrow, can't see much tonight. All the wiring is taped up though... I have a feeling its just a wire that is crossed, but who knows where I will find it. Any ideas on how I can just run a constant power to the fog when the key is in run?

You could tap off your battery into a fuse to a switch then back to your lights. All you'll have to do is add a switch and run some wires/fuse. All of which can be had at an auto parts store...

I would rather tap into something that already has 'run' power so the lights are illuminated whenever the car is on. Not really feeling the whole hard wire with switch idea, although it would absolutely work. Maybe as a last resort if I can't get this sorted out. Anyone know what I tap for that + source in run?

No suck luck... I've posted in a couple other areas, still waiting on replies. Right now I'm assuming 2 wires were crossed during the install. The fogs come on with parking lights and not low beams. Which of course is opposite from stock. So I'm betting they goofed a wire, just have no idea which ones they are. I'm a horrible electrician. Any one got any ideas what to look for/check?
