what i have heard is the 3.90s are good median, but the 4.10 are good for the race. Everyone has 373 but the 3.90 are just that much better. so it depends on what you want

3.90's VS 4.10's

You're just splitting hairs. Not a whole lot of difference for a dd.

I have a '99 automatic and 4.10's. The difference between the 2 gearsets once in OD is that the 4.10's are like 2.87's and 3.90's would be like 2.73's, not much difference and about 125rpm's at 75 mph. The 4.10's rev the motor at 2950 at 75 MPH. The 3.90's would rev the motor at about 2800rpm's. Thanks, mark

You don't think there is, but there is... When I got my 3.90's... I drove my stepbrothers GT with 4.10's... and the low gears there wasn't but 4th gear pulled much harder with the 3.90s
