All you need are 2 complete heads which Jegs sells for $350 each and a PI intake for $200. A heater hose with the fitting, a head changing kit $159 and your all set. Thats it! No need to change your front accessories all around, keep'm stock! That's what I'm doing!

PI swap with fully ported heads, Cams, FI: i would suggest a KB supercharger. That should get you close to 400 rwhp.
I don't know why everyone out there thinks that Fully ported heads will give you the best HP? Fuly ported heads are absolutley terrible for street use, since they see their power between 5500-7500rpms! You'll lose all your low end torque with fully ported heads. If anything go with a mild port and polish like patriot stage II. Although I wouldn't reccomend their eads, I have heard nothing but bad things!

its basically taking the heads off of a 99-04 gt and swaping them on the 96-98 4.6 block they flow better hence producing more power.

either way first mods u deff should do is.,.

intake
tb/plenum
exhuast
headers
gears
tuner

the list can go on but those are prolly what u wanna get done first
that will give u a good start maybe anywhere from 25-40 rwhp

then deff do a pi swap which should do around 40 hp itself

id stay aaway from the turbos n superchargers thought just go all bolt ons IMO

good luck

why? do you know how hard it is to get 400hp N/A? not to mention the money you're gonna be putting into it.
