wuts up guys..im new to the forums. anyways, i have an 02 GT, 5 speed, and its bone stock right now. the only problem im having with it is that there is this rattle like noise coming from the front of the car somewhere. it sounds like its more on the passenger side. it only happens when im accelerating and the engine speed is a little below 2k to a little above 2k, and it only does it in the first 4 gears. it is more persistent when car is cold than when it has been running for a while too. anyone have any idea wut it could be?

heat shield? Get under there and start shaking stuff. I just found my rap was my exhaust hitting off my frame.

my exh flanges always get loose. and rattles

i had a rattle like that and it ended up being the welds on the heat sheild for my cat had come free and rattled at low rpms, probably rattled at higher rpms but was unable to hear it.

If everythings tight under the car, its probly the synchros in the trans that are making the noise. Theres a TSB on this problem with the TR3650.
