Default 98 Cobra or 98 SS?

I dont care what you drive, its a mustang forums so most of you drive a mustang, I want your honest opinion on what the better car would be. 98 Cobra or 98 Camaro SS? (Yes i plan on doing some modding to it, but by no means will it be a project car, as it will be my DD).

Eh, I don't know enough about the SS to judge but I'd bet that the SS will be a better platform.

Hands down the 98 Z28 SS. They look way beter and the LS1 is a much strong motor to start with.

Now if you compared the 98 Z28 with the 99 cobra i would take the cobra.

I may be wrong but the Cobra will hold more value in the long run, but the camaro would be nice to have too.

Bro, get the LS1. I'd look at 99+ GT or mod the hell out of it, but personally don't care much for the Cobras before '03. The '01's and previous years were underpowered and heavy. I'd have gotten a WS.6 or SS before I bought my GT, but the stars aligned the way they were supposed to and I was able to keep my truck and my bike, so as opposed to one fast car I had three[8D].

A '96-'98 Cobra has more potential than a '99-'04 GT, but they both pale in comparison to the potential of a LSgay, i mean LS1

Gears, Intake, Exhaust, and DR's will be a deep 12 second LS1

Full bolt ons, gears, and DR's might be a 12.7 Cobra, while at the same time MAYBE being a 13.0 99-04GT

as much as i dislike Camaros/firebirds, if you want to go fast, and thats your only concern, then then GM from '98-'02 is a better buy
