Default typhoon intake manifold?

Has anyone tried the typhoon intake manifold? If so what gains did you see?

I didn't waste my money on it, but from the few I did know they lost some hp. I Think its a waste but, maybe some guys on here have it and can give you some specific details.

It is possible to make power with it, but it is not very good dollar/horsepower wise, and it will do little to nothing on a car that has boltons only.

until you add FI or do a bunch of engine work there is no reason to swap out a PI intake manifold.

Of all the parts in the engine, the intake is probably the best right from the factory

Would the typhoon be a suitable swap for a NPI car looking to go PI?

I dont know why people continuously say the manifold sucks. The people who say it, DONT have the manifold, and usually dont know anyone who does have it.

True dyno results, the manifolds not bad. You dont gain that much on peak hp, but you do gain a good amount throughout the entire RPM range. It's not a bad alternative compared to the P51. The price is def. much better.

But if you have minimal mods, buy something else instead.

ive been thinking about getting this manifold for a while , i like the fact that it helps the midrange (passing, roll racing) and the $ 500 price isnt bad either. i might get 1 in about 2 weeks.
