agreed...but if it can hook, a mustang with a lightning 5.4 w/ a pulley swap putting down like 430/460 would be nuts

Prolly go with Mickey Thompson 28x10.5x15 if you can find some 15" wheels with the right offset

yeah, MTs are where its at...besides the hood clearance issues i think the most difficult thing would be finding a tranny capable of 500+ ft/lbs...

the frpp 95 cobra r tremec is rated at 600 ft/lbs...and its only about 1800

would that bolt up to the 5.4 with little hassle?

lightnings make more power than that, I had an air filter, +4lb pulley and a custom tune and I made 400/500. it was impossible to hook up

im gonna be doing some mad suspension work to try to get this power to the ground...and a new rear end.
i think ill need a pair of weekday street tires, weekend drag radials, and slicks for the track though [sm=smiley20.gif]

I was going to do a lighning swap but now I'm starting to lean towards a 5.4 with a lightning lower intake and a custome upper and a procharger. The eaton is a very inefficent blower and you are going to have horrible hood clearance issues. I would like to get everything under a 3" cowl or less.
