Default Remote Start

My friend has a 97 gt and he was getting a remote start installed into his car. And the guy didnt tell us you had to have your originall key that says ford on it. so we waited 4 and a half hours for them to say your theft lights is on and we cant start your car. well he had 2 made copyies of his key and so they had to tow his car to the dealership cas it wouldnt start.

The bottom line is have your originall key when getting remote start. or else its a bitch.

You obviously don't live in Ohio, or any where else up north.

i have a remote start.....I'm sorry but i don't like cold weather, so get over it. And by the way, I installed mine myself, and it was done correctly and i've had no problems out of it

well no not quite....I just spoil myself, there's nothing better than getting up at 5:30, going outside to head to work, and climbing into warm leather seats when its 28 degrees or less outside. Call me lazy, but by God i'm warm.

yeah cause 10 years after having mine installed its all messed up [8D]

if you go to a good shop you get a good install. don't let your friends cousins step dad install it and you won't have issues.

Thats your fault... you should have known that Mustangs come with a chip in the key that allows you to start it. When you copy a key and try like 5 times to start your car it permantly disables the ignition system therefore costing you a lot of money.
