Install is easy and VERY straightforward. If you pay someone to do it then you wasted money.

ahem...MGW

And the 3650 is not crap. It handles my daily commute just fine with a little joyriding on the weekends.

you would say the same thing if it blew up 2 times in the year you owned it. only been to the track once.
Looks like you just got a bad 3650. Make ford put in a new one instead of rebuilding the same junk one. They are very good trannys and can handle plenty of torque.

Point is, it has nothing to do with his decision of an aftermarket shift ****. Coming into threads and saying things like that kills someones view on a grea product.

im a machinist/ cnc machinist and i spent from 1994-2004 making aluminum wheels for the big 3 ie. ford, chrysler, gm i know everything thing there is to know about those wheels from raw aluminum to shipped out the door!
