on vortech's website it says the stock boost level that there systems come with is 6-8 psi. so what boost levels did you guys get on your vortech blowers? and if my PI 4.6 was professionally dyno-tuned with a nice and conservative tune, how am i gunna be, reliable or not. i dont wanna blow my motor up. i dont drive my car hard, i treat it respectable.

any opinions welcome.

 

my car feels like it has 6 ilbs probabaly but thats gona change this spring im gona try to push 14 out of it with my new shortblock of course

get a boost gauge and see what you hit after the dyno tune dude

well my motor is blown right now cuz of the burnout i did below if u want to watch it i would recommend a better coolant system

 

you mean aftercooler.

no i mean a coolant system the reason i blew it was cuz it overheated couldnt c the guages with all the smoke in the car but it gives me a reason to build the motor and crank up the boost
