97 cobra won't start
Hi all,
I'm helping a guy at work, trying to get to get his cobra going. He said he started it and it ran for
30 seconds then died. When trying to start it, it cranks and seems to hit on one cylinder intermitently.
I checked the fuel pump cutoff switch and it was UP. I pushed it down and we still have the same result.
I pushed in the pressure release valve on the fuel rail and a drop or tweo of gas comes out. If we crank again
and press the valve afterwards, another drop comes out.
I tried putting an amp meter across the fuel pump fuse plug and crancking the motor. The meter said no current
was flowing.
So I wanted to poll you guys to see if you had any other ideas, otherwise I'll tell him to
get it towed to a mechanic.
thanks
Ken
