Would be helpful to have a decent amount of light. I wouldnt install it now especially with the clips where the stock grille attaches to the bumper.

Takes about 30 minutes at the most, but I wouldn't want to do it in the dark because it'd be impossible to see.

yeah you guys are right. another thing, i ordered a 2-piece kit but noticed that there's also a 3-piece. Blue oval industries told me that my 2000 already has the 3rd piece built in. I'm just hoping that the 2-piece is gonna be good. I saw the pics of the installation here on the forums and it looks like that car used the 3 piece as well.

The two piece is fine... if anything you might have to bend something (which youll never see). I bought the 3 piece... wasted the money.

I heard some guys who got the 2 piece wished they had gotten the three piece. I ordered a three piece set from blueovalindustries on ebay for $69 incl shipping.

1 piece goes into the grill area to and provides a cleaner looking top surface, the piece that goes where the radiator cover connected to the old grill
2nd piece is the horse
3rd piece is the bottom piece that covers the holes left over

its hard to do without a decent amount of light.. they make it seem easy but its hard, your gonna be bending the bumper out a bit but dont worry about it too much you wont see the area's bent, if your scared to bend the front part, you can just take the bumper off, not really hard

Buy the 3pc. kit, it is a much cleaner look, no rough exposed edges. It will take 30 minutes to an hour to install depending on your skill level and available tools. As Aereon stated you will need to pull and bend the bumper cover alot to get your hands in there but don't worry as long as your carefull you will not harm anything. It makes it alot easier to install the new pieces if you pull out the headlamp assemblies. Good Luck!

I got lucky and that was the one thing that i did not have to do. That is the way it goes the cheapest mod is done when you get your car.
